I offer an inclusive design service where I work with my clients to take your ideas and inspiration and turn them into a unique, custom made knife that will be a treasured possession for life. The design process goes from the initial sketches, to pictures and videos of the key parts of the forging process, right up until your piece is sent to you, so that you are involved from start to finish. Its all part of making a custom knife, so there’s no extra cost to you.
Here’s the big question, how much does this all cost? I’m glad you asked. There are so many variables, that its difficult to say a knife costs X amount. They’re all different, so I will give a couple of examples based on what I’m commonly asked for..
My prices for kitchen knives start at €100 , so for example, that would be the cost of a nice simple kitchen utility knife, and go up from there. Take an 8″ – 10″ chef’s knife, either in the European or Japanese style, that would be between €160 – €350 Euros, again depending on the type of handle, forging process and blade finish. Again, it may be more or less, depending on complexity.
The Bushcraft and Camp knives start at €140, which includes a hand crafted leather sheath, which is cut and wet molded to match each blade and can be finished in a choice of colors.
I always try to keep a stock of finished knives that are available for sale today, and I’ll update both here and on Facebook as soon as more are added.
